Jerry Lewis was caught by airport security at at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport last Friday after trying to board a flight to Detroit with an unloaded gun in his carry-on luggage.

“Police confiscated the .22-caliber Beretta, and Lewis was cited for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.”

Jerry claimed that not only did he not know the gun was there, but that it was also a hollowed out prop gun. He was, however, still cited so that sorta negates that claim. What high-action block buster is 82 year old Lewis working on for which he needs a gun? Nope. Not buying it.

I am shocked by only 2 things and not that Jerry Lewis was carrying a concealed weapon on a flight in the days they take your bottled water and hand sanitizer. I am shocked that 1) it wasn’t loaded. Jerry was on his way to Detroit! He should have been more prepared! 2) Jerry Lewis is still alive!!
