“This isn’t a man who is leaving with his head between his legs.” – Dan Quayle

Dan Quayle has refused to dance with the stars. Why the former veep doesn’t want to be featured on DWTS is anyone’s guess. Personally, I think that Danny can see into the future and knows he’s going to make an ass of himself. Quoting the great man himself (because Dan Quayle quotes, not unlike Nietzsche, can be applied to any situation):

“The future will be better tomorrow.”

“People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have tremendous impact on history.”

“Let me just tell you how thrilling it really is, and how, what a challenge it is, because in 1988 the question is whether we’re going forward to tomorrow or whether we’re going to go past to the — to the back!”

“Bobby Knight told me this: ‘There is nothing that a good defense cannot beat a better offense.’ In other words a good offense wins.”

My personal favorite, “I stand by all the misstatements that I’ve made.” Man he stands by a lot!!

It’s a shame really. That would have been one DWTS I would have actually watched. :(

Wow! And the award goes to Dan Quayle for the most dumb comments coming out of one persons mouth.

    That video was unbelievable!

Good article, funny as always :)

Well, thanks n’ all, but all the credit goes to Dan himself. An article about the stupid things Dan Quayle says writes itself. Imagine if Jessica Simpson wore a power tie and was Vice President. Yeah, like that.
