Morgan Freeman, Our Thoughts Are with You

Morgan FreemanSorry, folks, nothing funny or sarcastic this time, but I think most people would agree with me that Morgan Freeman is such an asset to the acting community and the rest of us, that he deserves our recognition and best wishes.

He was recently injured in a car accident. The car flipped several times and was even air born. The jaws of life were used to free him from the wreckage. He is currently being treated in a Tennessee hospital for injuries to his arm and shoulder. He is a lucky man as we are lucky for not losing him.

A man of enviable class has reportedly kept his poise and good humor. “‘He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point,’ said Clay McFerrin, editor of Sun Sentinel in Charleston, who arrived at the scene soon after the accident happened.”

Morgan Freeman, 71, has been in countless movies and won numerous awards for his breathtaking talent. You may remember him from The Shawshank Redemption, Gone Baby Gone, Driving Miss Daisy and more recently, The Dark Knight.

We, at The Star Celeb, wish Mr. Freeman and speedy and complete recovery.

I felt terrible when I heard this too. What a talent. On the upside, it sounds like he’s doing much better.

I love this man!! He is in my prayers. I think I’ve seen all of his movies….and to see him in an interview, one can tell that he is truly a good man.

I hear he’s doing much better. Still, my prayers are with him. A great actor that can touch your soul just by reading a script.
