Elvis to Be a Grandpa Again!

Lisa Marie and Michael Lockwood

Lisa Marie Presley is having twins! These are her 3rd and 4th children and her husband Michael Lockwood’s first two. They are due sometime this fall. Congratulations to the happy family! Well, I’m assuming they’re happy. Hard to say just going by the above picture.

On related news the Daily Mail is eating a full serving of crow. Before anyone outside the Presley/Lockwood family knew of the pregnancy the paper published some unflattering photos and had some critical things to say about Lisa’s appetite. OOPS!!!! I’m surprised she didn’t rip their lungs out (I draw on my own pregnancy/hormonal rages experience), but rather she merely let them off with a warning (i.e. suing them successfully for libel).

I seem to be on a has-been singer/lazy fact checker roll today! (See article about Jackson 5)

Summary: Congrats to Lisa and Mike, tsk tsk to the Daily Mail.

    Actually, I know a little bit about this. I read a medical article that stated that women over 35 have a much higher percentage of giving birth to fraternal twins. Most of the celebs who have had frat. twins are late 30s, early 40s–JLo, Angelina, Julia Roberts–and I’m pretty sure the boy/girl combination is the higher occurence in fraternal twins. I’ve researched this because I’m around that age and I also have a chance for twins in my generation so if I have another child in the next couple of years (we’ll see!), I have a good chance on having twins as well! Anyway, congrats to Lisa Marie and all the celebs who have been so abundantly blessed!
