Morgan Freeman Was Not Alone

We have all heard the troubling news regarding Mr. Freeman’s accident, which appears to have been caused by heavy rain and has him hospitalized though on his way to recovery. What we weren’t privy to was the fact that he was not alone in the car. He was accompanied by a Miss Demaris Meyer, whose car he was also driving. Coincidentally or not he is also in divorce proceedings with his wife of 24 years Myrna Colley-Lee. In the interest of full disclosure I should also mention that Mr. Freeman and his wife have been separated for months, but still the accompanyment of Ms. Meyer (described as a “friend”) doesn’t quite pass the smell test. Even worse, she is reportedly a close friend of Mrs. Freeman! Man, if unfortunate things really do happen in threes, Morgan Freeman had better duck!

    Are you kidding me? Who in the hell cares if he was with someone else and why would you guys make it into a big deal?? He and his wife are in the middle of a divorce. Meaning it’s over! daaaaaamn. Talk about something important.

    Soooo sorry to disappoint. I didn’t realize there would be one person out there who would go to a celebrity blog looking for the latest on the electoral process or the goings on in Darfur. Do you also walk into a hardware store and get pissed that they don’t sell shoes?

    Actually, I did hear about his passenger on the day of his accident (well the morning after – when the accident was first reported). They said she works at the Blues club he owns and she was driving him home… and he was doing the driving as he knew the way.

    Whether or not there was something hinky going on, thats between them, but it wasn’t hidden from the media.

    Seems Jess got the panties in a wad over this one. Hmm–I wonder why? Secret publicist perhaps? Anyway, this is a celebrity site and therefore is, and should be, open to all manner of speculation (and sarcasm). That’s why we love it! And besides, I’ve heard about the passenger in the car on other news programs so it’s not like it’s a secret. Lighten up!
