Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart, decorating, cooking, and entertaining icon of the ages has had kind of a tough go of it since her 2001 fracturing of the law followed by some creative truth telling regarding said fracture. I don’t really feel like explaining further, so if you’re really itching to know more read about it here.

Since she’s made only modest headway back into polite, law-abiding society since her prison release, Martha has decided to make something of the situation. She’s taken her old episodes of her show and slapped some frills and cr?me fra?che on it in the form of daughter Alexa and repackaged them into new show Whatever, Martha! Alexa will not be expected to bring any of her own talent to the party, but will instead by doing what she has likely been doing behind the scenes, as we all have, criticizing and making fun of Martha Stewart.

In a rare display of self-awareness and good humor, Martha decides to play along! Who care is if it’s only to turn a buck or two?

I think her going to jail made her all that more popular. I personally can’t stand her.

Everyone probably will hate me, but I like Martha. I’m not saying that I would necessarily like her as a person. Who really knows how she really is in private. However, I do think that she handled her “problems” pretty well and I wish I could be as organized as her. No such luck since I know she’s not a procrastinator like me!

Don’t feel bad. I used to have a throw pillow that had “WWMD – What Would Martha Do” embroidered on it. Since the scandal it kinda took on a whole new connotation and I think I spilled something on it anyway…
