Lilly Allen spoke out Friday and says that despite the little spat between her and Elton John at a London awards show Tuesday night:

“Elton John and I are friends”

For those who missed it, Lilly Allen began introducing a segment as a “very special point in the evening,” when Elton John, 61, said:

“What, you are going to have another drink?”

Allen shot back, “F— off Elton, I’m 40 years younger than you, I?ve got my whole life ahead of me.”

She is right about that, however if she wants to live to be as old as Elton John she may want to give up the cigarettes. I would have thought a ?very special point in the evening? for Lilly Allen would have been a cigarette break, but I guess Elton John knows her better than I do.

On her blog, Allen also denies that she was disgracefully drunk, claiming that she did nothing wrong by taking advantage of the free booze! Anyone who likes to drink will take advantage of free booze; we can?t blame her for that, can we?

“I’m not defending my drunkenness because I don’t need to, I?m 23 it was an awards ceremony I drank the free champagne, how awful of me,” she writes.

I think the awful part was you not saving the last 4 or 5 drinks you had until after your little speech and then telling Elton John, your elder, to fuck off on national television ? just a thought.

Further, Allen blames the media for over-hyping the supposed feud.

“Trying to create a feud on the other hand, and trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair,” she says. “Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all, in fact neither of us gave it a second thought.”

Perhaps it?s just me, but I saw the live show and I thought you made yourself look like a rude little girl with a drinking problem ALL ON YOUR OWN. It?s called personal responsibility; you should really read up on what that means as it?s quite obvious at 23 you still don?t know. I?m also willing to bet you?re the only one that didn?t give your actions a second thought, I suppose that really isn?t all that surprising now is it?
