According to KiisFM’s 8:30 sleaze this morning with Ellen Kay, Eva Mendes is sick of being compared to Jennifer Lopez just because they are both attractive latina’s in the entertainment industry. She says she is “much more serious about her career”. As much as I like Eva Mendes I do wonder what she means by that in that JLo is a singer, actress, restaurant owner and who knows what else. What exactly is Jennifer Lopez not serious about?
I don’t know about any of you, but I would have never even thought to compare the two. I think of Jennifer Lopez moreso as a singer whereas I think of Eva Mendes as an actress. What about you? Have you ever compared these two?

Jennifer Lopez is all those things mentioned + a parent. She sorta has a nice girl persona. Eva Mendes is walking talking sex (see above comment for exhibit A).
Now that I take a second look at the pictures I’m also going to differentiate the two by the amount of deodorant crumbles they have in their pits!
You know I don’t blame Eva for losing it at all. After so many years of people always comparing you to another would get very annoying! So what if she talks about Jennifer, she’s can’t sing for crap anyway but was still making millions because of her being “J lo” WHATEVER ! I don’t like when people take credit for a talent they don’t have!!! Acting yes J LO is good at that, but that’s it, she had to jump into singing just because she knew she could, not because that was her dream and or best talent !!!! So maybe that’s what Eva meant by she takes her career more serious, maybe …..
With Eva Mendes having more lmao - if you look at the picture of Eva, it looks like the “crumbly pit” part is circled for us
You know, I doubt if a thought of these two ladies passed my mind in the same day…or week. Thus, I have never even came close to comparing the two! I suppose I would be sick of being compared to someone else too though…Their careers seem to take different paths, so I don’t really know why anyone would compare them in the first place - they strike me as two very different people.
Me too, very different.
Look wise I prefer Eva Mendes, but I would say of the two I would peg Jennifer Lopez as the more “serious” one.
When I look at Mendes, I see no class! Lopez at least exudes some class.
