Negros?!? WTF? with Phil DeFranco
Phil DeFranco “phils” us in this Wednesday, November 12, 2008 courtesy of youtube:
So the “phil” in today had several odd stories, no? Or are they normal?
I mean I totally understand what the guy suing classmates.com is going through, don’t you? I too received an e-mail wherein it appeared that someone wanted to get in contact with me and know me just to sign up and find out it was a trick. I remember being upset to the point of almost breaking down over it. Do you have any idea what it is like to “think” you have a friend just to find out it is make-believe? *holding back tears* Damn it I should have sued too, I suppose he is much smarter than I. I hope he gets the millions he deserves!
I’m just kidding of course; I hope he is fined for wasting the court, media, and everyone else’s time being stupid.
Even worse than that was today’s douche bag of the day out of NY. The guy that sued his wife for giving him herpes just to find out she didn’t have herpes. OOPS! I guess it didn’t occur to him to ask the other people he was apparently sleeping with if they had sexual diseases, or to wear a condom, or the best idea of all, to just not cheat on his wife. We all know that it’s a well known fact that most men tend to think with their bottom head instead of their top one and this just proves once again why that’s not such a good idea.
What do you think about the race committee that says that calling someone “British” is as bad as calling someone a “negro”? First of all, I agree with Phil, who the hell even says “negro” anymore? Second, how many people have really been offended that this is an issue? If this equates to an El Salvadorian getting pissed off for being called a Mexican, why can’t we just simply clear it up when it’s brought up in conversation instead of unnecessarily turning it into some racial issue? Why do you have to be “offended” if someone calls you British and you aren’t? Or El Salvadorian and you are Mexican? Or Mexican and you are Italian? For god’s sake, if it bothers you say something, they will know from that point on and everyone moves on, no harm.
I don’t know, maybe I have it all wrong. What do you think?
