“This lawsuit is either the gold standard for bad luck or one of the biggest scams ever.” (source) Either way you would not be surprised to know it involves Martha Stewart. Personally, I opt for this being the gold standard of biggest scams ever.

Someone sat in a Martha Stewart lounge chair that collapsed slicing off the end of his finger. Now who would be the worst candidate for this to happen to? A musician? A hand model? A mid-westerner from Iowa? Yes! And this poor sap is all three. He’s a hand model from Iowa and a banjoist of all things. Yes, he plays a banjo.

Must be doing pretty well for himself if he’s buying Martha Stewart furniture, which can be bought only at the finest of big box discount retail stores. Martha’s going to be paying for this one!
