Kris Allen Wins American Idol Season 8
Congratulations to Kris Allen who took first place on season eight of American Idol tonight. I am SO happy! I was a Kris Allen fan right from the start.
What an exciting finale right?
If you missed it bikini girl was back looking better than ever, but was vocally outshined when Kara DioGuardi came out and not only began singing, but also showed off a nice six-pack stomach she herself possesses. Who knew? Way to go Kara!
I thought of all the duets Alison Iraheta and Cyndi Lauper out shined everyone. Their performance of ‘Time After Time’ was outstanding. I especially loved the end.
Congratulation again to Kris Allen. May you have a long, happy and prosperous career!
sigh. i mean kris is a good guy. but come on, that was totally adam’s to win. however, i’m glad at least adam won’t have to make some stupid pop album like the finale song. seriously.

I’m super happy about Kris winning. He reminds me a lot of Rob Thomas.
Funny you should say that Pam. I was just telling my husband the same thing this morning. Kris Allen definitely reminds me of Rob Thomas too. For those not familiar with him by name he is lead singer of Matchbox 20.
I know you LOVED bikini girl Jordasche! Both she and Kara looked H-O-T! Congratulations to Kris Allen. I would have been happy with either him or Adam Lambert winning. I thought it was a good fight.
Awesome! Good for Kris Allen. Adam Lambert would have had a record deal no matter what the outcome was. I think they said Kiss already wants to work with him! (Adam Lambert)
Wow. I am so so happy for Kris Allen. To be honest I didn’t think he had a shot in hell of winning, but Arkansas boy pulled it off. I agree with Xandria (cool name btw) that Adam Lambert would be getting a record deal of some sort no matter what.

Brit…I totally called that. You had 3 way race and when gockey was out, I knew his supporters would mostly go for Kris (isn’t that the girl spelling?) b/c they had similar styles.

I think Kris needed to win more than Adam. Now they both have a shot of fame and fortune. Adam would’ve been signed to a record deal regardless. Kris, however, probably would’ve been signed if he came in second, but winning Idol brings more attention to his name.
I live in Little Rock and it is believed that Arkansas single handedly got Kris the win. There were viewing parties every single week when he made it top 3. Then people would stay afterwards for hours and hours texting in their votes.
I am thrilled that Kris Allen won. He was definitely the under dog and I am proud of him! Yeah!
I kept saying Adam would win much to my dismay, so I’m glad Kris pulled it out. He seems more mainstream I think.

A: "There’s no easy answer as to why you get them. Ingrown hairs are more noticeable in men with really thick hair -- as ingrown hairs are more prevalent in people with thick hair -- or dark hair with light skin. First of all, it helps to understand the evolution of an ingrown hair: After hair removal, as the hair starts growing back, the sharp tip of the hair curls back in on itself and digs into the skin, leading to inflammation and irritation. If you do get one, remember this mantra: Put down the tweezers. Plucking ingrown hairs invariably fails and causes additional irritation. Instead, try applying an over-the-counter cortisone cream to help relieve inflammation, then head to a laser dermatologist for laser hair removal (no, not removal of all your hair -- just the problem ones). Realistically, laser’s the only long-term solution for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis isn’t practical because of the number and thickness of hairs involved. And as for waxing, well, remember the 40-year-old Virgin? Enough said."
