Emma Watson Had No Idea How Much Money She Made
According to Celebitchy young actress Emma Watson had absolutely no idea how much money she was making when she did the Harry Potter series until she recently turned 18.
In that she made $4,000,000 alone for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 its safe to say that that loot along with all the money she made with the other Harry Potter movies equaled to a pretty massive amount of money.
In fact, she was released so much money when she turned 18 that she says her father made her take a bank course.
“My dad never told me how much money I was earning. Then, when I hit 18, he was like, ‘I want you to understand that your money isn’t some kind of abstract concept. I want you to have a feel for what it’s worth and what you can do with it”.
She continued saying:
“The course was interesting, I’m glad I did it, but the truth is I’d just like to pretend that the money doesn’t exist. It’s amazing how many children are aware from such a young age about money being important or supposedly impressive.”
As to her own spending habits she says:
“I really don’t have time to spend my money. Sometimes my bank manager calls me to say, ‘You haven’t used your card in a while and now you’re using it – no-one’s stolen it have they?!’”
I think from the way she describes her father it seems as if he is a good father who really has his daughters best interest at heart. I think it was a great idea to have made her take a bank course before saying “here ya go, have at it”. There are so many young celebrities out there wasting money left and right its sickening. It’s not that I think it’s my business to tell someone what to do with their money, but really, is it really necessary to have hundreds of pairs of shoes or purses?
Good for Emma Watson. I hope she stays grounded.

I agree. Her dad making her take a money management course was a great idea. I think she seems more mature than your average 18 year old and, with any luck, she won’t go the way of Peaches Geldof.
Yes, with any luck. *crosses fingers*
Emma Watson is a lovely girl. Sounds like she has a great father. I’m happy for her.
Probably why Emma Watson is such a level-headed young lady. Kudos to her parents.
I like Emma Watson. Great news to hear she has such responsible parents that manage her money instead of trying to spend it all
I agree Kimber. Thank you for stopping in and commenting
I wish I had that kind of money! Lucky Emma Watson!
Me too Brenda

Life & Beauty Weekly: Expert Q+A
A: "This sort of kindness is rare, so it’s natural you’d want to reciprocate. But if you have offered to repay (or treat) her and she resists, there’s no need to insist on giving her money.
Also try not to feel bad that she always pays. Coffee isn’t a big expense, and it sounds like she enjoys treating you. She may do it because she appreciates your friendship or support at work. Or perhaps she likes having an excuse to get out of the office and doesn’t mind shelling out a few extra dollars for you. Regardless, just thank her each time she pays. Then, every once in a while, surprise her with a tin of cookies or muffins. Or once a month or so, tell her you are taking her out for lunch. "

Men’s Life Today: Expert Q+A
A: "There’s no easy answer as to why you get them. Ingrown hairs are more noticeable in men with really thick hair -- as ingrown hairs are more prevalent in people with thick hair -- or dark hair with light skin. However, there are a couple of key things you can do to heal them and prevent future outbreaks.
First of all, it helps to understand the evolution of an ingrown hair: After hair removal, as the hair starts growing back, the sharp tip of the hair curls back in on itself and digs into the skin, leading to inflammation and irritation. If you do get one, remember this mantra: Put down the tweezers. Plucking ingrown hairs invariably fails and causes additional irritation. Instead, try applying an over-the-counter cortisone cream to help relieve inflammation, then head to a laser dermatologist for laser hair removal (no, not removal of all your hair -- just the problem ones). Realistically, laser’s the only long-term solution for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis isn’t practical because of the number and thickness of hairs involved. And as for waxing, well, remember the 40-year-old Virgin? Enough said."
