Jon & Kate Plus 8 Spend Independence Day Together

Jon and Kate Gosselin with kidsEven though they have filed for divorce, Jon and Kate Gosselin were seen spending the 4th of July with their children. The family had a picnic in the backyard of their Pennsylvania home.

The family was seen playing volleyball and picking blueberries that Kate used to bake a cake. Jon Gosselin was spotted lighting a sparkler.

The couple had planned to set aside their differences in order to spend the holiday as a family. Kate Gosselin said about spending holidays with her kids:

“I absolutely cannot imagine not spending every single holiday with my kids. I don’t care what it takes. I will be there.”

This was a brilliant idea. Make your poor kids think there might be some hope for reconciliation between their parents. I’m sure that will do wonders for their self-esteem if/when this divorce is finalized.

Really, these two shouldn’t be breaking up. They should be winning the “Parents Of The Year,” award.

These Jon and Kate Gosselin should have never even had kids!

I’m not surprised they spent the holiday together. They probably did it, not for the kids, but to get back into the spotlight. I’m thinking they should receive a morons of the year award instead of the parenting one they think they deserve.
