Hayden Panettiere Had A Rough Childhood
Hayden Panettiere has opened up and confessed that she was “never a normal teenager,” and was “emotionally tortured,” by her classmates.
“I was tortured, emotionally tortured by these girls. Every time I came back from filming, it would be me trying to find my way back into the clique. And they weren’t having it.”
Hayden’s thoughts on her stardom as a child:
It wasn’t like I suddenly started feeling different. I always knew that I was. I never felt I missed out — in fact, it was like, ‘Oh, thank God I’m not that.”
The actress also confessed that her father was accused of hitting her mother:
“It’s turned my life upside down and shaken it … Nothing actually happened. It was very tough, especially since it’s my family. It’s one thing if you do it to me. I get frustrated, but I can handle it. But when it involves my family, my friends, forget it — I lose my … I learned the game. The more I react, the angrier I get, the more satisfaction they get. That’s exactly what they want.”
Hmm, I smell a bit of a drama queen here. Not over the issue of her father allegedly abusing her mother but the whole emotional torture thing gets to me. I’ve read and seen a lot of interviews with stars over the years, and many of them said when they went back to school after filming a project that it would be tough to fit in again. Unless the kids Hayden went to school with were particularly cruel, I don’t buy that she had it any worse than any other teen star.
But then again, I could be totally wrong and this girl really was tortured by her classmates.
Although somehow I doubt it.

Hum…. It’s possible that she wasn’t very nice and they just let her have it.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Hayden sounds like one of those people who likes to play the victim even when they’re not.
Hayden is a drama queen. I’m not a fan.
why do hot chicks always cry about being ugly when they were little???

She ought to try being like so many other American school kids who are teased every day…and they don’t have the advantages that she has had!

Life & Beauty Weekly: Expert Q+A
A: "This sort of kindness is rare, so it’s natural you’d want to reciprocate. But if you have offered to repay (or treat) her and she resists, there’s no need to insist on giving her money.
Also try not to feel bad that she always pays. Coffee isn’t a big expense, and it sounds like she enjoys treating you. She may do it because she appreciates your friendship or support at work. Or perhaps she likes having an excuse to get out of the office and doesn’t mind shelling out a few extra dollars for you. Regardless, just thank her each time she pays. Then, every once in a while, surprise her with a tin of cookies or muffins. Or once a month or so, tell her you are taking her out for lunch. "

Men’s Life Today: Expert Q+A
A: "There’s no easy answer as to why you get them. Ingrown hairs are more noticeable in men with really thick hair -- as ingrown hairs are more prevalent in people with thick hair -- or dark hair with light skin. However, there are a couple of key things you can do to heal them and prevent future outbreaks.
First of all, it helps to understand the evolution of an ingrown hair: After hair removal, as the hair starts growing back, the sharp tip of the hair curls back in on itself and digs into the skin, leading to inflammation and irritation. If you do get one, remember this mantra: Put down the tweezers. Plucking ingrown hairs invariably fails and causes additional irritation. Instead, try applying an over-the-counter cortisone cream to help relieve inflammation, then head to a laser dermatologist for laser hair removal (no, not removal of all your hair -- just the problem ones). Realistically, laser’s the only long-term solution for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis isn’t practical because of the number and thickness of hairs involved. And as for waxing, well, remember the 40-year-old Virgin? Enough said."
