Julie Chen, host of the CBS reality show Big Brother, is expecting a son with husband Leslie Moonves. She revealed the baby’s gender in an appearance on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.

“It’s a boy. We decided that after the 4th of July, we would release [the news].”

The couple is reportedly busy trying to pick a name for their impending bundle of joy, and Julie had this to say on the subject:

“We’ve talked about names and it’s funny because I always thought I would never be one of those people that wanted an original name. Like, sometimes [names] are made-up words that aren’t really even words.”

They still have some time to decide on a name. The new baby is due on October 4th. He will be the first child for Julie. Her husband has three children from a previous marriage.
