Mad Men star Christina Hendricks isn’t revealing a lot about her wedding plans with fiancé Geoffrey Arend. The wedding will take place on October 11th at an undisclosed location on the East Coast. No cast members from Mad Men will be in attendance and it will be mainly family.

The couple met when they were introduced by Vincent Kartheiser, co-star on Mad Men. Their first date reportedly was at the Magic Castle in Hollywood and Kartheiser was present during the date. Geoffrey Arend had this to say about his now fiancé and their first date:

“We were just hanging out. And I realized that the day before a friend had told me I was going to like Christina. Halfway through the magic act, I looked at her and said, ‘I’m supposed to like you.’ And she said, ‘You’re Geoffrey? I’m supposed to like you, too.’ “

Arend proposed to Christina just last year. He had this to say about the proposal:

“I proposed under a chandelier that I retrieved from a restaurant called Il Bucco on Bond Street in New York. She had wanted [that particular chandelier] since she saw it when she was 22 years old. And now it’s hanging in our dining room in L.A.”

Like all brides, Christina has chosen the dress she will get married in.

“I’m wearing Carolina Herrera. It was the first dress I tried on and it was magnificent.”

No word on a possible honeymoon for the happy couple. They claim they may not have the time to go on one, but the groom-to-be did say they would like to go to Tuscany:

“A farm house, small car, something romantic,” said Aren.
