Ryan Seacrest Signs Contract With American Idol

Ryan SeacrestAccording to Celebitchy Ryan Seacrest and American Idol have finally come to a salary agreement and an official contract has been signed. The contract welcomes Seacrest as host of the hit show for another 3 years at $15 million a year.

Per the trade paper, Seacrest will work exclusively for CKX which is the parent of Idol producer 19 Entertainment. Perk? The deal only covers broadcast-network work. Separately, Seacrest will still be able to maintain a cable agreement with Comcast and his gig as E! Entertainment’s main anchor. He’ll also continue to produce Keeping Up with the Kardashians for E! and a future Jamie Oliver reality series for ABC.

Sounds like he is going to be just as busy as ever. Do you think his insanely lucrative salary is justified by his difficult job duties? I don’t.
