Vanessa Hudgens Waiting For Marriage
Vanessa Hudgens and boyfriend Zac Efron may be a hot and heavy couple, but that doesn’t mean Vanessa is anxious to walk down the aisle any time soon.
“I think [marriage and starting a family] is great but I’m so focused on my career right now that it doesn’t really cross my mind,” said 20-year-old Vanessa.
That focus on her career has led her to take on a role in this fall’s Bandslam, which is a movie about a group of students who form a rock band. Vanessa’s character Sa5m (and no, that’s not a typo, that’s actually the character’s name) is a shy quiet girl; quite different than the character she played in High School Musical. Vanessa says she enjoyed playing such a different character.
“I think the best part about being an actor is playing different characters. I’m definitely going to revisit musicals later, once I feel accomplished at a certain point, that I’ve gone somewhere with my acting career. Then I’ll go back, because that’s where I grew up – in musicals.”
In her effort to embrace many different roles, Vanessa’s upcoming movie Sucker Punch will have her playing a girl who is tormented and locked up by her stepfather. Vanessa is enjoying playing such vastly different roles, saying:
“I just think it’s really important to try different things. I think a lot of people get stuck doing the same routine, and I’m just not content with that. I love trying new things and doing new hobbies and just exploring life.”
It sounds like this girl has a good head on her shoulders. She sounds a lot smarter at her age then some actresses are who are old enough to be her mom. It’s great to see that at least someone in Hollywood can be sensible.

Julie, I have to respectfully disagree with you. Of course marriage isn’t on her mind. She’s banging Zac Efron and has nude pictures of herself all over the internet. LOL. She’s careless, single and free. So I wouldn’t necessarily attribute that to her. She knows Hollywood and that she’s young. I’ll give her that. It would be a terrible mistake for her to get hitched now, at her age and in Hollywood.
Vanessa Hudgens does appear to have it a lot more together than other people her age and even older *ahem Paris Hilton who is 28*
Well yeah, but my 10 year old cousin has it more together than Paris Hilton too. That’s not hard to do
And I think maybe the headline on this article confused people. I just meant to say that Vanessa’s willing to wait till she’s older before she gets married, not that she’s sitting in the wings waiting for some guy to marry her. That’s my fault, should have written a better headline.

Life & Beauty Weekly: Expert Q+A
A: "This sort of kindness is rare, so it’s natural you’d want to reciprocate. But if you have offered to repay (or treat) her and she resists, there’s no need to insist on giving her money.
Also try not to feel bad that she always pays. Coffee isn’t a big expense, and it sounds like she enjoys treating you. She may do it because she appreciates your friendship or support at work. Or perhaps she likes having an excuse to get out of the office and doesn’t mind shelling out a few extra dollars for you. Regardless, just thank her each time she pays. Then, every once in a while, surprise her with a tin of cookies or muffins. Or once a month or so, tell her you are taking her out for lunch. "

Men’s Life Today: Expert Q+A
A: "There’s no easy answer as to why you get them. Ingrown hairs are more noticeable in men with really thick hair -- as ingrown hairs are more prevalent in people with thick hair -- or dark hair with light skin. However, there are a couple of key things you can do to heal them and prevent future outbreaks.
First of all, it helps to understand the evolution of an ingrown hair: After hair removal, as the hair starts growing back, the sharp tip of the hair curls back in on itself and digs into the skin, leading to inflammation and irritation. If you do get one, remember this mantra: Put down the tweezers. Plucking ingrown hairs invariably fails and causes additional irritation. Instead, try applying an over-the-counter cortisone cream to help relieve inflammation, then head to a laser dermatologist for laser hair removal (no, not removal of all your hair -- just the problem ones). Realistically, laser’s the only long-term solution for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis isn’t practical because of the number and thickness of hairs involved. And as for waxing, well, remember the 40-year-old Virgin? Enough said."
