VH1 Cancels Megan Wants A Millionaire

According to Celebrity Smack VH1 has canceled the show Megan Wants A Millionaire as one of the contestants, Ryan Jenkins, is wanted by police in the death of Jasmine Fione, a woman he met in Las Vegas and then married two days later back in March.

In addition to canceling the show VH1 has also removed all promotional information regarding the show from their website.

The following is an official statement directly from VH1 regarding the situation:

“Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.”

Ours do too and we wish the family the best of luck in finding justice. I think it was only right of VH1 to cancel the show. May Ms. Fione rest in peace.

I agree canceling the show was appropriate. How sad for the victim. I hope the killer is found and prosecuted as necessary.
