Film RollI’m on location in Cleveland to report this story for The Star Celeb. OK, the truth is that I actually live in Cleveland. Ha! But I still wanted to spotlight this amazing contest for everyone.

Universal Studios is holding a “Halloween Horror Night – Chiller Scary Good Film Competition.” Filmmakers from around the country submitted horror shorts for a chance to win $1,000 and a trip to Hollywood.

The judges, who include Kevin Greutert (Saw VI), have selected the Top 10 finalists. You can watch the horror shorts and vote until noon on September 25th at http://www.halloweenhorrornights.com/chiller – the work of some of the filmmakers is remarkably creative.

Jeff Breyer’s “The Nightmare” is a finalist from Cleveland, which is how I learned about this contest.

So if you like horror movies, enjoy short films, want to check out creative filmmakers or simply want to show Jeff some love (and vote for him), please check out the above-site.

Reporting on location for The Star Celeb, this is The Constant Complainer
