Dina Lohan Slams Ex Hubby Over Lindsay Rumors

Dina Lohan and Lindsay LohanApparently Dina Lohan, mother of celebrity train-wreck Lindsay Lohan, is blasting her ex-husband and Lindsay’s dad, Michael Lohan for spreading rumors about his daughter. Michael Lohan reportedly told the press that the Lohan family was going to do an intervention on Lindsay over her alleged abuse of prescription drugs.

Dina had this to say about Michael’s claim of drug abuse:

“I don’t go — like my ex — on national television and make things up. He’s estranged from Lindsay; he doesn’t know what’s going on in her life. Michael doesn’t talk to her. I’ve had full custody of all my children for the last 10 years. He has been incarcerated for some of that time, so whatever is going on in Lindsay’s personal life is our business. And for him getting paid to say things about her when he’s five months behind in child support is wrong.”

When flat out asked if Michael’s claim of Lindsay abusing prescription drugs is true, Dina had this to say:

“I have no idea what he is talking about. I can’t comment on everything my ex says.”

It is terrifying how messed up this entire family is. I don’t doubt that some kind of intervention would be in Lindsay’s best interest. But I guess when both your parents are trash, what’s best for the kids doesn’t really matter. This is one family that seriously needs to get their act together.
