Amy WinehouseAccording to Yahoo News train wreck Amy Winehouse is “hopefully” going to release the follow-up to her 2006 album ‘Back To Black’ next year.

Island records co-president Darcus Beese had the following to say to BBC News regarding the situation:

“I’ve heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. Hopefully we’ll have her album next year.”

‘Hopefully’ doesn’t sound very promising when you consider Amy Winehouse and her antics, but in any event I wish her the best of luck. I certainly wouldn’t mind hearing a new album from her. I think she is a talented person when she’s drug free.
