Kristen Stewart and Robert PattinsonIts been reported that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson of Twilight will not be attending Spike TV’s Scream 2009 awards, which airs on October 27th. While it is known the two of them are currently busy shooting ‘Eclipse’ in Canada its rumored the two are dreading their upcoming promotional duties for New Moon.

A source in the know had the following to say about it:

“Rob and Kristen love the acting, but they hate everything else — the publicity and hype — that goes with the Twilight franchise. They’re dreading giving interviews because they know people will try and ask them about their relationship.”

I can see these two could put their brain cells together and we still wouldn’t be working with very much. First, give me a break, anyone who wasn’t just recently born knows that if you get into ‘the business’ the publicity and hype is something you’re going to have to live with if you want to be successful in that field. Second, its ridiculous for them to ‘dread’ giving interviews because they’re worried someone might ask them about their relationship. I’m sure you can think of one of the countless celebrity couples out there yourself that simply replies “I don’t talk about my personal life’ when asked about it. We don’t see them dodging their fans and acting like unappreciative snobs.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t stand Robert Pattinson nor Kristen Stewart. It seems like ever since they came out on the scene all we’ve heard from them is complaints about how popular they are – boohoo. Perhaps they should both slip back in to oblivion, even better, together. I’d have a difficult enough time remembering they were even here at all opposed to wondering where they went.
