Soupy Sales50’s and 60’s comedian Soupy Sales died last night at a hospice in The Bronx, NY. Soupy was best known from both “The Soupy Sales Show,” and the classic “What’s My Line?” No word on what caused his death, but he is said to have had many health problems.

Soupy served in the Navy and fought in WW II. He then went on to become a reporter at a radio station in West Virginia. Later on when he got a gig as a DJ, he changed his name to Soupy Heinz. Years later he would end up living in L.A and filling in as host on “The Tonight Show.”

In 1964 Soupy moved to NY and began “The Soupy Sales Show.” He worked regularly on TV in the 60’s and 70’s.

Soupy leaves behind a wife and two kids. The Star Celeb would like to offer our condolences to the friends and family of Soupy Sales. He will be missed.
