Justin Timberlake Restrains A Fan
Justin Timberlake has gotten a restraining order against 48-year-old Karen McNeil for repeatedly showing up at his house. Justin’s attorney said that Ms. McNeil is a “mentally unstable celebrity stalker,” and called her actions alarming and obsessive.
Court records state that Ms. McNeil left Justin what his attorney called a “bizarre letter,” at his house this past June. The woman, who is believed to be homeless, was placed in protective psychiatric custody after she trespassed at Justin’s home this past Thursday. A hearing on November 9th will determine if Ms. McNeil will receive a three-year restraining order to stay away from the singer.
It’s terrifying seeing the lengths some people will go to just to get near a celebrity. I hope this woman gets the help that she needs so that she doesn’t victimize anyone else in the future.

This is what scares me about becoming famous. IF it happens. It may or may not, I dunno. But I have nightmares enough about strangers looking in my windows or trespassing on my property. I don’t know what I’d do if I was to actually have an encounter like this!!
