Hilary Fleming Won Dance Your Ass Off Pregnant
The following press release has just been released by Claudia Fanchon of EC Entertainment regarding Hilary Fleming and the fact that she won the dance competition, Dance Your Ass Off, with partner, Ruben Permel, while pregnant!
Los Angeles, Ca.- November 4, 2009 –
While everyone was losing weight on DYAO, one cast member was packing on the pounds, well with good reason! Hilary Fleming, the dancer who was partnered with Ruben Permel, who eventually won season one of DYAO knew something was definitely different. Hillary and her husband found out she was pregnant six weeks into the competition. She stated, “I started raiding the craft service table every chance I got, and I was a little more weepy than usual so I knew something was up.” Wardrobe was the very first to notice. Hilary started forming a baby bump by week 7 and the small pot belly wasn’t easy to hide in the costumes. By the semi-finals her morning sickness was in full swing and she could no longer “hide” the pregnancy anymore that she had to tell Ruben first and then discuss it with the producers. Dr. Huizenga the show’s doctor also of “The Biggest Loser” fame assured Hillary that everything was fine because the baby was too tiny for any damage to happen while dancing. Still Ruben was careful about lifts every time they did any sort of “dangerous” moves. The week of the finals Hilary missed dress rehearsals. She was so dehydrated from morning sickness that she had to go to the hospital and was worried she wouldn’t be able to perform. But the show did go on and victory was won. Hilary and her partner Ruben Paso Doble’d right into first place winning the $100,000,000 grand prize. Hilary is expecting any day now and is so thrilled to be a mom and can’t wait to dance again with her new little DYAO baby in tow. No word whether Hilary will return for season 2 , which has just been announced by Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President Original Programming and Development for Oxygen Media. Hilary Fleming is repped by dance agent MSA. Contact: Lisa (323) 957-6680.

Way to go Hilary! I was really sick from very early on in my pregnancy so I can’t imagine winning a dance competition.
I agree with Alexandra, I could never have gone through with that pregnant. Great job to Hilary Fleming on the win especially under the conditions.
Go Hilary Go! Best of luck with the new baby on board.

Life & Beauty Weekly: Expert Q+A
A: "This sort of kindness is rare, so it’s natural you’d want to reciprocate. But if you have offered to repay (or treat) her and she resists, there’s no need to insist on giving her money.
Also try not to feel bad that she always pays. Coffee isn’t a big expense, and it sounds like she enjoys treating you. She may do it because she appreciates your friendship or support at work. Or perhaps she likes having an excuse to get out of the office and doesn’t mind shelling out a few extra dollars for you. Regardless, just thank her each time she pays. Then, every once in a while, surprise her with a tin of cookies or muffins. Or once a month or so, tell her you are taking her out for lunch. "

Men’s Life Today: Expert Q+A
A: "There’s no easy answer as to why you get them. Ingrown hairs are more noticeable in men with really thick hair -- as ingrown hairs are more prevalent in people with thick hair -- or dark hair with light skin. However, there are a couple of key things you can do to heal them and prevent future outbreaks.
First of all, it helps to understand the evolution of an ingrown hair: After hair removal, as the hair starts growing back, the sharp tip of the hair curls back in on itself and digs into the skin, leading to inflammation and irritation. If you do get one, remember this mantra: Put down the tweezers. Plucking ingrown hairs invariably fails and causes additional irritation. Instead, try applying an over-the-counter cortisone cream to help relieve inflammation, then head to a laser dermatologist for laser hair removal (no, not removal of all your hair -- just the problem ones). Realistically, laser’s the only long-term solution for ingrown hairs.
Electrolysis isn’t practical because of the number and thickness of hairs involved. And as for waxing, well, remember the 40-year-old Virgin? Enough said."
