According to Digital Spy singer Katy Perry is slowly learning to cope with constantly being hounded by the paparazzi. Perry says that the paparazzi have been all that much more of an issue since she began dating British comedian, Russell Brand.

Perry spoke out and had the following to say about the situation:

“Recently, I have understood the stuff people like Victoria Beckham have had to deal with for most of their adult lives. It can be frightening and overwhelming, but you just have to learn to deal with it. You could easily let it have a negative impact on your life, but it’s best to just try and make the most of things… and not get too obsessed by the insanity of fame. People do not realize how hard it is to be chased everywhere by the paparazzi – it is not pleasant.”

I don’t know what ‘people’ she is talking about, even though I am not a celebrity I am not stupid, I can certainly imagine how scary it would be for people to be chasing me down all the time, and no, it would not be pleasant. I agree with her that you have to learn to deal with it though and make the most of things if that’s the life you wan to live.

I still think rules and consequences for breaking the rules need to be outlined as far as a paparazzi’s allowed behavior.
