Celebrity Supporters - Guest Post

I notice Obama has a lot of celebrity supporters. Some even say they are going to attend his inauguration. I even heard some rock groups will put on concerts for him. A lot of people think this is special. Even INXS supported Obama, which leaves no question in my mind that is why a lot of INXS fans also supported Obama. Many of them did the same with PETA, and that is why PETA exploited JD Fortune. Well, in my eyes, celebrity supporters do NOT make the candidate!! Though Obama …

Obama’s Debate Prep

This is truly the funniest Obama video I’ve ever seen. And people say that Obama provides no material for comedy! Now that I’ve seen this I totally agree that the only thing Obama’s nearly perfect campaign was missing was a debate with Sarah Palin.

So Sweet - Barack & Michelle Obama

I think we’re going to be okay if our new president loves his country like he loves his wife. It’s very sweet really, you can see they have genuine love for one another.

Barack Obama First African-American President

It’s official, Barack Obama has been elected the 44th President of the United States.
This win makes him the first African-American president in the 232-year history of our country. Jennifer and I are of course thrilled and extend our sincerest congratulations to President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama.

Barack Obama, John McCain, Obama '08! »

[15 Oct 2008 | 10 Comments | ]

It’s a small tidbit, I know, but I couldn’t resist this bit from tonight’s debate.
John McCain needs to review his knowledge base on special needs children, their diagnoses and, in particular, he needs to review the needs of his running mate’s children, “And I just said to you earlier, town hall meeting after town hall meeting, parents come with kids, children — precious children who have autism. Sarah Palin knows about that better than most. And we?ll find and we?ll spend the money, research, to find the cause of autism. …

How’s this for obscure endorsements? The Dead (formerly, until the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995 may he rest in peace - The Grateful Dead) put on a show in support of the Democratic Presidential nominee.
According to The Star, “Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart hit a Penn State University stage last night to play for about 15,000 people…’I believe him enough to be able to get up in front of my constituency, these people out there,’ Hart said, pointing out the door to his dressing room, …

Barack Obama, David Letterman, Joe Biden, John McCain, Katie Couric, Sarah Palin »

Republican presidential dude John McCain failed to show for his scheduled appearance on the CBS Late Show with namesake David Letterman on Wednesday preferring instead to hang with Katie Couric. Granted she is cuter, but McCain could have at least tried to come up with a better excuse.

In another example of McCain’s maverick leadership style he gives Dave the old line, “It’s not me, it’s you.” Quoting The Star:
“McCain spokesperson Nicole Wallace said Thursday that the campaign ‘felt this wasn’t a night for comedy.’”
“‘We deeply regret offending Mr. Letterman, but …
